build 5381 1 office 2007

Booted from DVD, partitioned, formatted, installed. Updated Windows Defender and everything running very sweet. Nice build, using it as my desktop now. Good work on this one MS. I'm looking forward to teaching the 1 day clinic, Course 3041 - even though the Clinic uses 5308 I can still demo a bit of 5381.

I took Build 5365 on my laptop to the MSN Butterfly Tour, and used it for a week and a half with no other OS installed. It was sink or swim, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Things just worked, and I had no real problems. Everything I'd installed worked too. Nice!
Build 5381 has been on my beta machine since it was released to us, and it works well too. Too bad I had to rip its hard drive out and send it off as a loaner to my Property Owners Association. Their Dell got its power supply fried by a thunderstorm, and they need a computer to use until the new power supply arrives and I can install it for them.
Thank goodness for mobile racks and extra hard drives! I think I'll just rip the hard drive out of this one and install 5381 to the other extra drive I have. :) Can't have too many extras . . .
